Management Overview

NCER has Articles of Association and is managed by a board of directors. The directors are all local authority or recently retired local authority officers. NCER has no salaried staff. It works in a commercial partnership with Angel Solutions Ltd to deliver its services.

The NCER Board of Directors is supported by an elected Steering Group, made up of current local authority officers.

NCER regularly consults with external organisations and agencies who have a relevant interest in the field of education data to ensure our systems and services add maximum strategic value to the work of local authorities. We also liaise with the DfE over data access and governance issues.
